The
«Governing Board» of the Festival «Échecs, Art & Modernité» is
constituted as follow: First of all, we have to present you the very
dynamic Mario Alain (photo on the right and on the bottom of the page),
President of the «Club d'Échecs de Trois-Rivières» .
Mario
Alain is the instigator and the overseer of the festival.
He has, the first, conceived this project. Several months of
reflection, work and contacts were necessary to him so that this idea
arrives to its concrete realization.
Richard
Bérubé is Vice President of the Festival and General
Director of the «Fédération Québécoise des Échecs». He is the
main contributor to the Festival from Montréal!

Richard
Duguay, Secretary of the Festival and Webmaster of the site, is equally
responsible of the FQÉ Tournament... Richard Duguay is a Chess
enthusiast passionate by informatics

Johanne Boissé Treasurer of the Festival»
Johanne
Boissé Treasurer of the Festival, is equally responsible of the Kid
Tournament... She is a professional accountant and is the mother of
two children playing chess!
