«Governing Board» of the Festival


The «Governing Board» of the Festival «Échecs, Art & Modernité» is constituted as follow: First of all, we have to present you the very dynamic Mario Alain (photo on the right and on the bottom of the page), President of the «Club d'Échecs de Trois-Rivières» .

Mario Alain is the instigator and the overseer of the festival. He has, the first, conceived this project. Several months of reflection, work and contacts were necessary to him so that this idea arrives to its concrete realization.

Richard Bérubé is Vice President of the Festival and General Director of the «Fédération Québécoise des Échecs». He is the main contributor to the Festival from Montréal!
