Yves
Vaillancourt was born in 1960 in Montreal and passed his childhood on
the Northern Coast. He made studies of second and third cycle in
political sciences and philosophy, in Montreal and Paris. After having
been part-time lecturer to the UQAM, he is now a professor of
philosophy to the Ahuntsic College, and this since 1993.

Among
Yves Vaillancourt's topics of fiction, one finds the voyage, the
photography, the interpenetration between virtual and real worlds, as
well as a contemporary search of crowned. Yves Vaillancourt is also a
photographer and carried out several exposures. Essay writer, he wrote
on ecology. On this subject, it obtained the Esdras-Minville Price in
1994.
