***Theory*** - The main interest of this game is to exemplify a Reversal Situation (RSIT:) and equally the significance of the Open File Fight (OPFF:). Precisely:
1) At the end of the middle game White has a better position. But nevertheless Black position is Without Weakness (BWW:).
2) By an inaccurate play, during the endgame, White losts gradually all perspectives.
X0 3) The lever of the Black' s victory is the penetration into the White' s camp via the b-Open File: b-Open File Attack (bOFA:).

1.d4 X1 Nf6 X2 2.Nf3 X3 c5 X4 3.d5 X5 b5 X6 4.Bg5 X7

The Grunfeld-Keres System. This beginning is an A43-Totally Pure Opening, frequently played nowadays and rather favorable to White: White Significant Advantage (WSIA:) (statisticaly speaking!).

4...Qb6 X8 5.a4 X9

ECB (ECO Codes Base) Classification: [A43-w7*]

5...Bb7 X10 6.a5! X11

A recent Zlochevskij' s idea.

6...Qd6!?N X12

An interesting novelty.

[ The Halay' s retort is more active than: 6...Qd8?! X13 7.c4 X14 Ne4 X15 8.Bh4 X16 bxc4 X17 9.Nc3 X18 Nxc3 X19 10.bxc3 X20 d6 X21 11.e4 X22 g6 X23 12.Bxc4 X24 Bg7 X25 13.Qb3 X26 Ba6 X27 14.e5! X28 Bxc4 X29 15.Qxc4 X30 0-0 X31 +/= Zlochevskij, Alexander (2415) - Sedina, Elena (2345) A43 (32) 1-0, Toscalana op 1996.]

7.c4 X32 bxc4 X33 8.Bxf6 X34 Qxf6 X35 9.Nc3 X36 Na6 X37 10.e4 X38 Nb4 X39 11.Bxc4 X40 Ba6 X41 12.Be2 X42 Bxe2 X43 13.Qxe2 X44 Qa6 X45 14.Qxa6 X46 Nxa6

After this Exchange Series (EXCS:) it is easy to explain why White has a better play:
1) White Spatial Advantage (WSPA:)
2) White Strong Center (WSC:)
3) Black Development Delay (BDD:).
4) Black pieces Badly Coordinate (BBCO:).

X47 But one remarks equally the Backward Pawn (BACP:) b2 on the b-Open File (OPFI:); it is a Significant Weakness (SIWE:) and White has to take some measures on this subject.

15.Nd2 X48 g6 X49 16.Nc4 X50

The White Knight reaches a Strong Square (STSQ:).

16...Rb8 X51 17.0-0? X52

A Strategic Mistake (SMI:).

[ 17.Ke2 X53 is more judicious!]

17...Bg7 X54 18.e5! X55

White continues to reinforce his position, but Black game is Whithout Weakness (BWW:).

18...0-0 X56 19.Rfd1= X57

[ May be considered: 19.f4! X58 Rb4 X59 20.Ra4 X60 Rfb8 X61 21.Rf3 X62 d6= X63 ]

19...f6 X64 20.e6 X65 d6 X66 21.Ra2? X67

[ Better is: 21.Rd2 X68 f5 X69 22.Kf1= X70 ]

21...f5! X71 =/+ 22.Na3? X72

With the idea to post a Knight in b5.

22...Nc7 X73 23.f4 X74 -/+ 23...Rb3! X75 24.Ne2?! X76

[ Black wins equally after: 24.Kf2 X77 Rfb8 X78 25.Rd2 X79 R8b4 X80 26.Ne2 X81 Ra4 X82 -+]

24...Rfb8 X83 25.Nc4 X84 R3b4 X85 26.b3 X86

[ or:26.Ne3 X87 Rxb2 X88 27.Rxb2 X89 Rxb2 X90 28.Kf1 X91 a6 X92 -+]

26...Rxb3 X93 27.a6 X94 Rb1 X95 28.Rxb1 X96 Rxb1+ X97 29.Kf2 X98 Nxd5 X99 30.Na5 X100 Nb4 X101 31.Rd2 X102 Bf6 -+

There is any defense for White.
