CURRENT CHESS THEORY

Updated: Feb 2009

CCT/MCT - MENU PAGES
(by Michel Bruneau CTW)

In our «Four Level Chess Theory Lecture» our purpose is to present an as comprehensive as possible Chess Theory Learning, integrating a great part of the historical Chess Heritage and simultaneously our own vision of the Theory of Chess, with as accomplishment the NCT (New Chess Theory). The present page is a survival of our first (in 2004) presentation of the subject, but it does not matter! The «Current Chess Theory» appears in two separate theories:

   CCT: CLASSICAL CHESS THEORY
   MCT: MODERN CHESS THEORY

As we are here just at the middle of our Lecture, it is the suitable time to explain two or three points. Each level (1°), 2°), 3°) & 4°)) is practically self-contained but needs an increasing level of Chess culture. If you are a full beginner the best choice is to start by level 1°). At the contrary if you are a more or less experimented Chess player you may begin by the level of your choice: 2°), 3°) or 4°). It is equally possible to do a quick review of a level and then to read more carefully the following one. And of coure you may equally, at all moment, if necessary, come back to a previous chapter .
