~ WEBSITE MAIN PROJECT ~

«Chess-Theory» web site is conceived as a link between Chess Theory and Practice. But today it's a significant site presenting more than 1000 pages in each language. And in addition our present project is rather different from the first one.
At the beginning, during the year 2004, we had the idea to develop this site in three fundamental directions, like you may observe at the top of each page:

"Chess Theory",
"Analysed Games",
"Chess Practice".

Currently we maintain this original point of view. But, for various reasons, our global projet become more vast and complex. Also we have created four great new parts of this site:

"Link Collection",
"Banner Gallery",
"ECO Codes Base" &
"Chess-Theory Forums".

Perhaps it's not currently obvious but if you are really interested by CT (we are sure it's the case!) you'll soon realize the general site synergy... Let us explain this fact to you.
Each part of CT web site is created both for your use and ours. First of all it's impossible to develop a global conception and presentation of chess reality of today in the total ignorance of what is know through the world at the present time.
 Hence, with soon more than 10 000 links, you and us are here at the right place to be in contact with the wolrdwide Chess community... We are certainly right thinking that now CT web site is the best place in the world to discover all the present human and intellectual Chess universe!
It's precisely in this rich international environment we want to develop our main contributions to Chess knowledge improvement... Now permit us to present CT web site like an only body ... "Link Collection" is its lungs, "Banner Gallery" its look, "Forums" its tongue, "ECO Codes Base" its heart and finally "Chess Theory" its mind!... and the real site you visit here is the life animating jointly all this organs.
But in conclusion we have to reveal you this fact: the most important person here is you!... By joining us, writing in our "Guest Book", suggesting your site for link, sending your own games for analysis and publication on the site, proposing your columns or simple remarks, and also by participating to various debats on CT forums ... you'll fully engage yourself in the fascinating and exciting Chess Theory adventure!!
