NCT IX - THE SPECTRUM OF A POSITION I

When an idea has never been explicited this prove people has been able, until the present time, to think and act without it.
However it's possible this concept contitutes a significant progress of though. We had the conviction this is rightly the case of «spectrum» notion we wish presenting now.
Naturally it is not only possible but rather credible that the concept about which we will speak now corresponds to a more or less clear vision for a great number of chess players... More, it is quite possible that this idea is currently very familiar and limpid for some ones. Nevertheless this does not take off anything, on the contrary, at the interest of the clarification and formalization of such a notion. Well, at the present time this work have been made only by us («Courrier des échecs» 517, april 2002, p.119 to 120) ... Otherwise that would be known !
