Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about the «Virtual Art Museum»:
1o) For what reason did you
create, on this Web site devoted to the
Chess theory, the «Virtual Art Museum»?
|
It
is easy to answer that it is universally recognized a strong kinship
between Chess and Art; such is our first reason. Nevertheless, it is
interesting to search a more intimate and secret explanation. In
february 2004, with the whole beginning of the creation of this site,
we have been fascinated by the powerful of image!... It was in fact
the reemergence of a great personal passion for the art. We invite you
to visit the following page, created in March or April 2004, which is
the true precursor of our present virtual museum:
«Chess-Theory Picture Gallery»
The
«Virtual Art Museum» has been created in july 2005, next considerably
increased in july and august 2006. It is dedicated to the Art of all
countries, through the time, and is now structured in six sections:
Painting, Architecture, Sculpture, Design, Photography, Chess & Art.
Our main idea is to help everyone to discover a part, inevitably
reduced, but as large as possible of the Worldwide Art Heritage.
In
the future development of our virtual museum we will continue to
explore the Art through space and time. But we will focalize our
attention on Contemporary Art, in view to promote the discovery of
new talents, in every country and in all sectors of art.
