about image copyright infrigement?


We are very pleased to answer this question, because this is an important point and that we have a clear opinion on this subject. The start point of our reflection is that the Worldwide Art Heritage is an intangible but inalienable patrimony of humanity. This is for us a fundamental philosophical principle.
Now we do not forget we are living in a concrete world, with its organisation, its usages, rules and laws. It is not conceivable to contest all this. Consequently we recognize the existence of the Art Marquet and of artworks in Private Property. At this subject, it is true that the Image Copyright is the legal acknowledgement of Image Private Property.
We consider that we comply with rules in use concerning the Copyright according to the following reasons:
  • Chess-Theory is a non-business, non-sponsored Web site (see the:

  • Chess-Theory missions are only educational, cultural and intellectual.
  • The «Virtual Art Museum» is a worldwide Artwork Link Collection: Each image is accompagned by a link with all references.
  • In any case, we can remove an image and the corresponding link on request.
